The sunrise over the hills of the valley was astonishing, and we could see it from all the windows in the Friesian Farm cottage. Our accommodations were cozy and private and everything we hoped for in a vacation to wine country. The vacation rental property was only a 10- to 15-minute drive from all the key areas of the Santa Ynez Valley, a stone's throw from countless vineyards and wineries, 20 minutes from the beach, and 45 minutes from the Santa Barbara airport. We got to socialize with the friendliest dogs and several horses during our stay, squeezed in some hikes, ate some tasty food and had some tasty beverage each day of the trip, it was all around a great trip! If you are looking for a cozy, romantic getaway for two, the Friesian Farm is the perfect property for any couple. I'm excited to get a larger group together to try out one of the other properties on our next vacation, too! We were a group of four couples cycling the Santa Ynez Valley! Returning back at the end of the day to the Ranch was wonderful!! We opted to stay in every night and cook for ourselves.....enjoying the pool and beautiful view and sunsets beforehand! Truly lovely and definitely met and exceeded our expectations! We all wished we could stay another day or two.........will try to return sometime in the future! Everything was wonderful at Estelle Ranch. Villa Santa Rita Hills delivered! This house far and away exceeded our expectations and we had the best experience. The house was clean, comfortable, well stocked with helpful items. Leanne provided us with a packet of helpful hints and local info. We took advantage of the private pool & spa for couple of days and went wine tasting as well. We have referred this house to some friends and would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice getaway. Thank you so much for a great experience.
